Job summary

Holiday Inn Express Orlando is seeking a House Person to join our housekeeping team. The role focuses on maintaining cleanliness of corridors and public areas, ensuring guest satisfaction, and adhering to safety standards.

Experience in hotel housekeeping is helpful; local candidates preferred for hourly, non-smoking shifts. Training provided; days and evening shifts available; join a team committed to guest comfort.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel housekeeping is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Walk all assigned floors at beginning and end of shift; remove newspapers and service tray, empty ash urn receptacles, remove trash and/or linens and note any areas that need immediate cleaning.
• Clean public areas in the prescribed manner while following safety and security procedures and regulations including hallways, elevators, service areas, stairwells.
• Remove soiled linen, terry and trash from service areas and take to the appropriate locations.
• Aid section housekeepers as needed (e.g. bed boards, roll-a-ways).
• Report missing/found articles, damage or merchandise problems to Senior Housekeeper.
• Receive assigned section, keys, supplies and priority requests from Senior Housekeeper.
• Respond to guest requests and questions and report guest issues and complaints in a hospitable manner.
