Job summary

Windsor Hospitality is seeking a Preventive Maintenance Technician to manage the preventive maintenance program for our Embassy Suites by Hilton in San Luis Obispo, CA. The role focuses on routine inspections, safe operation of doors, locks, HVAC, and plumbing within guest suites.

You will log work in our system, communicate needs to the Chief Engineer, and maintain a professional appearance and guest-focused service mindset throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders.
• Comfort with basic hand tools and safe equipment handling.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the preventive maintenance program for guest suites.
• Inspect doors, locks, and hardware to ensure smooth operation.
• Service HVAC units, replace filters, test thermostats, and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Repair plumbing fixtures and test electrical outlets, lighting, and modern amenities.
• Log work in the maintenance system and communicate larger repairs to leadership.
