Job summary

Shamin Hotels is seeking a hotel engineer to troubleshoot and repair hotel equipment, facilities, and systems, including HVAC and electrical. Your duties include preventive maintenance, inspections, coordinating the maintenance staff, and staying within budget.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in hotel/maintenance field preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance around the building including HVAC and electrical systems.
• Inspect and repair plumbing, electrical wiring, and building components.
• Coordinate maintenance staff and manage parts inventory.
• Ensure safety procedures and proper lockout/tagout.
• Keep records of maintenance and report major issues to the GM.
