Job summary

Courtyard by Marriott - Delray Beach is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel’s facilities. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, repairs, and responsive service to sustain guest comfort and safety.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks, and be prepared to handle emergencies while maintaining organized work areas and accurate records.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical, plumbing, carpentry and building maintenance.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance across the property (mechanical, electrical, painting, carpentry, plumbing).
• Respond to emergencies and maintain safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain facility building and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance throughout the property such as mechanical, electrical, painting, carpentry and plumbing.
• Respond to elevator breakdowns.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Respond and resolve engineering service requests in a courteous, efficient manner.
• Maintain engineering work area in an orderly and clean fashion.
• Assist in handling emergencies to protect guests and team members and preserve building systems.
• Follow all safety procedures while working.
