Drury Plaza Hotel is hiring for a kitchen/food prep role on-site in Columbia, Missouri. Under general supervision, you will prepare a variety of food items according to recipes, keep the prep area clean, and assist guests with requests while upholding Drury's hospitality standards.

We offer growth opportunities, mentorship, and incentives such as a quarterly bonus up to $3,200. Candidates must be 18+, able to communicate in English, and operate kitchen equipment and POS systems.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Requires ability to take written and verbal direction in English and speak English clearly.
• Requires ability to operate machines and equipment used, including POS software, dishwashers, kitchen equipment, etc.
• Requires ability to communicate effectively with customers and all levels of team members; ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people while exhibiting a consistent level of professionalism.
• Requires ability to support bartender, but does not make or pour alcoholic beverages.
• Requires ability to clean and maintain areas for which responsible.
• Requires ability to move around bar and kitchen area efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of food products using kitchen equipment and utensils according to recipes.
• Maintain a clean, organized prep area while delivering food and assisting guests.
