Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a skilled Painter / Maintenance Technician to join our Engineering team at InterContinental Seattle Bellevue. This role focuses on painting, drywall repair, and maintaining the hotel’s appearance, inside and out.

You will work with pride on high-quality finishes in guest rooms and public spaces. Candidates should have professional painting experience, drywall finishing skills, and general maintenance know-how.

Qualifications

• Previous professional painting experience required.
• Experience with drywall repair and finishing strongly preferred.
• General maintenance, construction, or facilities experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift, carry, climb ladders, and perform physical work as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform interior and exterior painting throughout the hotel.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, caulking, and priming.
• Repair drywall, including patching holes, taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing.
• Match paint colors and finishes to maintain property standards.
• Complete touch-up painting in guest rooms, public spaces, meeting rooms, and back-of-house areas.
• Maintain painting tools, supplies, and equipment.
• Follow all hotel safety procedures and operational standards.
• Perform minor repairs to walls, doors, ceilings, fixtures, and other building components.
• Respond to maintenance requests in guest rooms and public areas.
• Assist with preventative maintenance tasks throughout the property.
