Job summary

The Renaissance Seattle Hotel is seeking a Regular Full-Time Maintenance Engineer to support safe and efficient operation of the hotel’s building, grounds, and equipment. You will perform painting, drywall repair, and routine upkeep to ensure an exceptional guest and employee experience.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and two years in skilled trades. This role offers overtime eligibility and benefits, with room to grow within the property.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) years of training or equivalent experience in one or more skilled trades.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with guests, team members, and other departments.
• Respond professionally and promptly to guest requests, work orders, incoming calls, and radio calls.
• Perform interior and exterior painting, drywall repair, patching, and surface preparation.
• Conduct routine inspections and property walks to identify maintenance and cosmetic repair needs.
• Assist with preventative maintenance, inspections, and general building repairs.
• Complete daily engineering task sheets, preventative maintenance assignments, and required documentation.
• Assist in training new Engineering team members on department procedures and responsibilities.

Education
