Job summary

Hilton Myrtle Beach is seeking a dedicated Painter to maintain and repair surfaces across the hotel's facilities, including buildings, rooms, furniture and equipment. You will use brushes, rollers and spray-guns, prepare surfaces with spackle and plaster, and ensure high-quality finishes while supporting guest satisfaction.

This full-time, year-round role offers a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends, plus benefits such as PTO, health plans, 401(k) with company match, life insurance

Qualifications

• Experience painting walls, furniture and surfaces in hospitality environments.

Responsibilities

• Paint, maintain and repair painted, wall-covered, stained and varnished surfaces of building structures, rooms, furniture and equipment throughout the hotel and facilities.
• Prepare and paint surfaces using techniques and tools including, but not limited to, measuring surfaces, applying spackle and plaster, mixing paint, matching paint and using brushes, rollers and spray-guns.
• Install and repair covered wall and ceiling surfaces including, but not limited to, hanging vinyl paper, fabric and foil wall coverings.
• Maintain and repair caulked, grouted, wood and masonry surfaces requiring staining, varnishing and lacquering.
• Maintains inventory of supplies needed to perform job function.
• Reports major repairs and items that cannot be repaired to the superiors for further action.
