Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a skilled Painter or Carpenter to join The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center team in Roanoke, VA. You will perform maintenance tasks, repair finishes, and participate in preventive maintenance to ensure guest rooms and public areas are kept to the highest standards.

The ideal candidate has experience in painting or carpentry, with knowledge of routine household repairs and a professional, engaging demeanor.

• Experience as a painter or carpenter.
• Household repairs knowledge (carpentry, electrical, plumbing).
• Engaging and welcoming personality.

Responsibilities

• Performs general maintenance of building, facility and soft goods.
• Performs finishes repairs and touch ups to various surfaces throughout the hotel and meeting space.
• Performs preventative maintenance and maintains logs in an organized manner.
• Make repairs to woodwork, wall vinyl, doors and window, carpeting, etc.
• Participates in the hotel/resorts preventive maintenance program.
