Job summary

The Indigo Road Hospitality Group seeks an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in all facets of hotel operations. You will drive guest satisfaction, lead a diverse team, and uphold brand standards across departments to deliver exceptional experiences for guests and staff.

As a hands-on leader, you will manage daily operations, participate in recruiting and training, and ensure financial performance while maintaining a luxury hotel environment aligned with IRHG values.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of progressive hotel leadership experience.
• Previous supervisory or management experience in a hotel environment required.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with guests, team members, and business partners.
• Strong financial acumen and understanding of hotel operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in leading all aspects of hotel operations and daily business activities.
• Model and uphold Core Values and leadership principles.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging work environment.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, coaching, and developing team members and leaders.
• Maintain an open-door policy and build relationships with team members throughout the property.
• Recognize and celebrate team successes and promote engagement initiatives.
• Lead daily stand-up meetings and operational briefings.
• Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) and serve as the primary operational leader in the absence of the GM.
• Ensure exceptional guest service standards are delivered and address guest feedback promptly.
• Oversee Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, F&B, and other hotel departments.
• Monitor daily operations for efficiency, productivity, and adherence to standards.
• Support department leaders in achieving goals and profitability objectives.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and security procedures are followed.
