Job summary

Hotel Lucine in Marblehead, OH, seeks an Operations Manager to serve as the main link between Lark-managed Hospitality Assets and property staff, guiding daily operations and supporting the GM in planning and staffing. You will supervise front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and pool/public spaces while ensuring safety, brand standards, and excellent guest service.

You will coach and develop teams, monitor guest satisfaction, and ensure operational readiness and a positive workplace culture

Qualifications

• Previous hotel leadership or supervisory experience required.
• Strong understanding of hotel operations, preferably in select-service or boutique hotel environments.
• Experience with front desk operations and housekeeping oversight preferred.
• Basic maintenance and preventative maintenance experience strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable performing hands-on operational and maintenance-related tasks.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and perform physical tasks associated with hotel operations and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily hotel operations and support the GM in planning and staffing.
• Act as Manager on Duty in the GM's absence and lead guest experience.
• Ensure departments meet standards, safety procedures, and policies.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and coaching of team members.
• Maintain high guest satisfaction and handle service issues promptly.
• Coordinate with maintenance for PM programs and repairs.
• Collaborate with front desk, housekeeping, and food & beverage partners to ensure seamless guest experiences.
