Christiansted Harbor Resort is seeking an experienced Hotel Manager for Hotel on the Cay, a 51‑room beachfront property reopening after renovation on St. Croix, USVI.

This hands‑on role covers daily operations across front desk, housekeeping, maintenance and guest services, while leading a small team and managing budgets, vendor relations and guest satisfaction. You will coordinate island logistics, water taxi operations and ensure health, safety and licensing compliance as the property grows

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hotel management experience.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, staff and daily operations independently.
• Strong guest-service orientation and hands-on leadership style.

About the Property

Hotel on the Cay is a 51-room beachfront resort on a private island in Christiansted Harbor, reachable by a two-minute water taxi from the Christiansted boardwalk. The property is undergoing a full renovation, reopening November 1, 2026. We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Hotel Manager to lead the team through reopening and help establish Hotel on the Cay as a premier boutique destination in the Caribbean.

The Role

This is an active, working management position — you'll be on the floor daily alongside your team, not just behind a desk. The Hotel Manager oversees all aspects of day-to-day operations, from guest experience and staffing to budgeting and vendor relationships, with full accountability for the property's performance and reputation.
