Job summary

Astra Seattle is seeking a maintenance technician to respond to guest service requests and perform preventive and corrective maintenance across hotel systems. You will work under Engineering Leadership with a flexible schedule including day/evening shifts and holidays.

Requirements include a high school diploma and about 1 year of maintenance experience; hospitality background is preferred and a City of Seattle Boiler Operator Grade IV license is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-year maintenance experience or knowledge in basic repairs.
• Hospitality experience preferred
• City of Seattle Boiler Operator Grade IV License preferred

Responsibilities

• Respond to work orders and guest service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and basic repairs under Engineering Leadership.
• Inspect building systems, equipment, and guestrooms to identify maintenance needs and report findings.
• Maintain accurate work order documentation and records in the work management system.
• Keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
• Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and departmental policies.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently and communicate with Engineering Leadership for direction.
