Job summary

Azul Theodore Hotel in Seattle, WA seeks an experienced Engineer/Maintenance Tech to repair and maintain the resort’s physical structure and support the Maintenance Dept. Responsibilities include painting, plumbing, electrical work, and preventative maintenance across guest rooms, kitchens, and leisure areas.

The role requires three to five years in building trades, fluency in English, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in general building trades, with technical building maintenance background preferred.
• Must be able to read and interpret drawings, diagrams, and design plans of all trades.
• English fluency required.
• High school or equivalent education required.
• Ability to provide and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor painting, plumbing, electrical work and other maintenance tasks using hand tools.
• Perform preventative maintenance for guest rooms and equipment (HVAC, appliances, fixtures).
• Respond to alarms and report findings to the Front Desk.
• Maintain orderly work areas and follow safety procedures (lockout/tagout).
• Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisor and cross-train.
