Job summary

Highgate Hotels in the United States seeks a Maintenance Technician to respond to guest repair requests and perform preventive maintenance across guest rooms and facilities.

You will inspect tools and equipment, change light bulbs, and handle plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs under supervision. A HS diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license are required; trade licenses are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensed in a trade preferred (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.).
• Must have a valid driver’s license for the applicable state.
• Must have an acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving Record).

Responsibilities

• Assist with operation, maintenance and repair of equipment.
• Change out light bulbs and perform preventive maintenance for guest rooms.
• Perform preventive maintenance for ice machines, refrigerators, kitchen equipment, and more.
• Repair plumbing, exhaust fans, energy conservation monitoring, and related tasks.
• Respond to alarms, determine status, and report findings to Front Desk.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor or manager.
