Job summary

Staybridge Suites Overland Park is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician to perform general repairs and grounds upkeep, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for guests. You will handle equipment repairs, manage inventories, and assist with room PMs.

Responsibilities include coordinating with vendors, monitoring pool/spa areas, and responding to after-hours calls. A CPO certification is preferred and familiarity with Quore is a plus.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1+ year of hotel maintenance experience.
• CPO certification required.
• Ability to perform Daily Maintenance Engineer Checklist.
• Experience maintaining plumbing and electrical systems.
• Identify and report needed repairs to parking lot and sidewalks.

Responsibilities

• Handle all equipment repairs and coordinate with vendors for bids and approvals.
• Complete monthly maintenance inventory and submit supply orders.
• Conduct room preventive maintenance with maintenance staff.
• Monitor pool and spa areas per state/city regulations and logs.
• Be on-call for after-hours emergencies and respond promptly.
• Oversee on-site housekeeping support and maintain logbooks.
