Job summary

Kansas City Residence Inn by Marriott at the Legends in Kansas City is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep guest rooms and common areas in excellent condition through hands-on repairs, preventive maintenance, and timely coordination with vendors and engineers.

The role requires hotel maintenance experience, a passion for hospitality, ability to perform daily maintenance checklists, and skills to repair plumbing and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1+ year of hotel maintenance experience preferred.
• Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Ability to perform Daily Maintenance Engineer Checklists.
• Capable of maintaining and repairing buildings’ plumbing and electrical systems.
• Identify and report needed repairs to parking areas and sidewalks.

Responsibilities

• Handle equipment repairs and coordinate with vendors for approvals.
• Perform monthly maintenance, inventories, and supply orders.
• Conduct room PMs with maintenance staff support.
• Ensure pool, spa, and chemical logs are compliant with regulations.
• Maintain records and pass QA condition scores during inspections.
• Be on-call for after-hours emergencies and assist other departments.
