Gravity Haus is seeking a Hotel Engineer I to maintain and repair hotel systems, ensuring safe and sustainable operations and aiding in guest satisfaction. You will troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance while collaborating with front desk, housekeeping, and F&B teams to resolve issues and maintain a welcoming environment.

The role emphasizes reliability, strong communication, and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities and guest needs in a resort setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hotel, resort, or commercial maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of building systems and basic repairs.
• Comfortable using computer to process work orders and logs.
• Excellent communication skills and guest-facing professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on hotel systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical fixtures, appliances.
• Assist with daily hot tub chemical testing and balancing.
• Respond to maintenance requests in guest rooms and public areas.
• Complete basic repairs such as patching, painting, fixture replacement, and minor plumbing.
• Log and track maintenance tasks in the internal work order system.
• Collaborate with Front Desk, Housekeeping, and F&B to resolve maintenance issues.
