Job summary

SCP Hospitality Manager LLC is seeking an Engineer I for Salishan Coastal Lodge to maintain hotel mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Weekends required and full-time with benefits.

The role involves prompt maintenance, safety, and guest comfort, including HVAC, elevators, lighting, and safety systems. The selected candidate will perform inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance, coordinate with housekeeping and front desk, and uphold OSHA safety standards in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year in a maintenance capacity required.
• Previous experience working with heavy machinery and tools.
• Thorough knowledge of OSHA requirements.
• Basic knowledge of swimming pools and chemicals preferred.
• Basic knowledge of repairing and replacing: electrical, plumbing systems, painting, HVAC equipment, refrigeration, kitchen equipment and general property maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive guest relations at all times and resolve guest complaints.
• Follow Hotel policies with lost and found items.
• Adhere to Hotel requirements for guest and team member accidents or injuries and in emergency situations.
• Maintain and repair HVAC systems, elevators, fire safety systems, lighting, pumps, and water supply.
• Prioritize work orders and minimize guest inconvenience.
• Assist in checking electrical systems and minor repairs.
• Assist in major repairs of hotel equipment such as boilers, HVAC, and plumbing fixtures.
• Refurbish furniture and fixtures in guest rooms and public areas.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to resolve issues quickly.
• Assist with preventive maintenance program and safety inspections.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with hotel staff to ensure guest safety.
• Provide timely guest support for maintenance issues.
• Maintain inventory of tools and spare parts; keep records.
