The Briad Group's Residence Inn and Courtyard by Marriott in Central Islip, NY is seeking a Hotel Maintenance Technician who can fix, troubleshoot, and maintain guest rooms and public spaces to ensure safety and comfort for all guests and associates.

As a key member of our property team, you will perform routine preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and complete repairs quickly. The role offers hourly pay of $18–$20 with full-time benefits including medical coverage and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Experience as Maintenance Technician in hotel or similar setting is required.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Skills include carpentry, painting and basic electrical work.
• Soft skills: good communication and ability to work independently or in a high-pressure team.
• Physical: able to lift up to 70 lbs and use ladders as needed.
• Availability: flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine facility and grounds preventative maintenance to keep guest rooms and public spaces fully operational and safe.
• Diagnose issues and execute repairs efficiently using technical skills.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and maintenance matters.
