Job summary

Naples Hotel Group seeks a Maintenance Helper to support the hotel's maintenance operations, assisting with routine repairs and upkeep across plumbing, HVAC, lighting, and mechanical systems. You will work with the Chief Engineer to complete work orders and preventive tasks, ensuring facilities are safe and meet brand standards.

Qualifications

• Must communicate clearly and professionally with guests and staff.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and general repairs.
• Ability to follow written instructions, work orders and safety procedures.
• Reliable, self-directed and capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Basic computer skills and use of digital maintenance platforms.
• Hotel maintenance or facility support experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine maintenance tasks across guest rooms, public areas and building systems.
• Support maintenance of plumbing, HVAC, lighting, electrical, and general facilities.
• Complete work orders and preventive maintenance tasks with supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance spaces and tools.
• Greet guests professionally and respond to needs with urgency.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards or incidents promptly.
• Log work orders and maintain maintenance records.
• Assist with on-call shifts and emergency repairs as needed.
