Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for our Hotel Indigo Cleveland Gateway property. You will perform general maintenance of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry to uphold our high standards of service.

Work with the team to inspect equipment, log tasks, and respond quickly to guest needs. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, strong communication, and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Experience in a maintenance role at a hotel or resort.
• Knowledge of household repairs (carpentry, electrical, plumbing).
• Engaging and welcoming personality.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for creating an exceptional guest experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Available to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance of building mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Repair electrical systems, appliances, wiring, and HVAC components.
• Repair plumbing fixtures, piping, and drains.
• Repair woodwork, walls, doors, and flooring.
• Maintain maintenance logs and submit reports.
