Qualifications

• A minimum of (2) years of relevant engineering/maintenance experience.
• A minimum of (1) year of experience in a hotel environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Highly responsible and reliable.
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining call and courteous at all times.
• Flexible schedule. Able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance on building interior or exterior.
• Communicates effectively and genuinely with guests, employees, and other departments.
• Maintains a friendly and caring demeanor at all times in a fast pace environment.
• Report to work at the scheduled time, well-groomed and in the correct uniform.
• Perform inspections of operating machinery, equipment and systems.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance and compliance with fire and safety regulations and all municipal, state and federal guidelines.
• Works in a safe manner and recognizes the unsafe situation. Takes appropriate action to ensure the safety of themselves and others in the building.
• Respond quickly to all guest requests in a caring friendly and professional manner, consistently follow up to ensure guest satisfaction that meets and exceed our services standards.
• To assist with maintenance on mechanical systems such a pump, fan coil units etc.
• To operate the fire pump and sprinkler system as required.
• Ensure that all potential and real hazards are reported appropriately and immediately.
• Perform any other duties assign by his/her manager.
