Job summary

Vision Hospitality Group LLC in Kimball, TN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to upkeep guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas. The role requires multi-trade skills including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and general repairs to keep the hotel attractive and safe.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate effectively in writing, by telephone and in person.
• Able to report to scheduled shifts.
• Able to work a flexible schedule with nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain a clean and attractive work area, uniform, and person.
• Is organized, honest, and works well with others.
• Can provide personalized, friendly service to every guest and associate.

• Able to work with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
• Be able to bend, reach, kneel, push, and stretch and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records of repairs and evaluations.
• Inspect guestrooms and public areas to identify repair needs.
• Assist other departments with preventive maintenance.
• Have basic mechanical aptitude for hotel facilities and equipment.
• Have working knowledge of basic hand and power tools.
• Ensure safety and security of guests, associates, and hotel assets.
• Keep business information confidential.
