Job summary

Traditions Hospitality Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Hotel) to support the Riverwind Hotel in Norman, OK. The role involves routine maintenance of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances, with timely inspections and prompt guest service responses.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment, completing work orders, and assisting with renovations while following safety protocols. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required in a dynamic hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to obtain Gaming license (if applicable).
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous experience in maintenance, repair, or a related field preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures and techniques.
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as repairing plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC systems, and appliances.
• Conduct inspections of hotel facilities to identify and address maintenance issues in a timely manner.
• Respond promptly to guest requests for maintenance assistance, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment and machinery as needed, including but not limited to lighting fixtures, locks, and furniture.
• Complete work orders and maintenance logs accurately and in accordance with company procedures.
• Assist with renovation projects, installations, and other special projects as assigned.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Collaborate with other departments and team members to ensure the overall cleanliness, functionality, and appearance of the hotel.
