Qualifications

• High school education or GED required.
• 1-2 years of hotel maintenance experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and switch tasks quickly.
• Willingness to work weekends and evenings.
• Basic maintenance certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain basic upkeep of all rooms and common areas, ensuring furniture, appliances and electrical equipment are in working order.
• Organize supplies and ensure equipment is ready for the next day.
• Maintain high safety standards and report incidents or unsafe conditions.
• Oversee safety and cleanliness of areas inside and outside the hotel, including parking lot and pool.
• Follow preventative maintenance calendar and monitor for improvements.
• Notify supervisor of low-running supplies and keep them in the loop.
