Job summary

Arbor Lodging is seeking a Maintenance Tech to keep our hotel running smoothly and looking sharp. You will perform day-to-day repairs and longer-term fixes, proactively addressing maintenance needs and ensuring guest comfort.

Responsibilities include repairing items, organizing supplies, maintaining safety, and supporting guests with a friendly, professional presence. Weekend/evening availability required and regular safety compliance is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 1–2 years hotel maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic maintenance certification/accreditation preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be a team player and able to communicate effectively (verbal/written).
• Able to work weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace items around the hotel and refurbish guest rooms to keep the property looking great and functioning well.
• Organize supplies and ensure equipment is ready for the next day.
• Follow safety guidelines and report any incidents or unsafe equipment to supervision.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of areas inside and outside the hotel, including car park and pool.
• Follow preventative maintenance calendar and look for improvements to keep operations efficient.
• Be a friendly face and helpful to guests.
• Keep supervisor updated on low stock and supplies.
• Present a professional appearance and uniform.
• Be prepared to take on extra duties as needed.
