Job summary

Stonebridge is seeking a Maintenance Attendant in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware to support hotel maintenance operations and ensure facilities and equipment function properly. You will assist with preventative maintenance tasks, repairs, and general upkeep to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff.

The role requires basic knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and electrical systems, the ability to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs, and a readiness to work

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maintenance systems (refrigeration, heating, plumbing, electrical).
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs.
• Familiarity with lockout-tagout safety procedures preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate with team and management.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and courteous service at all times.
• Perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration, heating, plumbing, and HVAC equipment.
• Monitor energy consumption and report issues.
• Complete maintenance projects on time per specifications.
• Follow OSHA lockout-tagout and safety procedures.
• Perform maintenance in guest rooms and public areas as scheduled.
• Log findings from equipment checks.
• Report safety and security concerns to the Chief Engineer or Manager on Duty.
• Maintain secure key inventory and procedures.
• Respond to emergencies and assist as needed.
• Participate in ongoing maintenance for event spaces and hotel equipment.
• Keep workspaces clean and organized.
