Job summary

The Holiday Inn Express of West Long Branch is seeking highly motivated maintenance professionals to join our team in the Maintenance department. The position involves upkeep and repair of hotel facilities, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and safety inspections.

Candidates should be able to lift heavy objects, work flexible hours including weekends and holidays, and read manuals or blueprints. We offer part-time and full-time opportunities with benefits as applicable.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience preferred (1 year)
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing
• Able to lift 50+ pounds and stand long periods
• Flexible hours including weekends/holidays
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Fix windows, sinks, toilets, and furniture
• Monitor building, grounds, and equipment
• Read manuals, instructions, blueprints
• Identify and fix safety hazards
• Perform minor electrical work and bulb replacement
• Follow safety standards and OSHA regulations
• Use power tools and maintain equipment
• Operate hotel vehicles/equipment
