Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn San Antonio Airport is seeking a Maintenance Staff member to assist with operations, maintenance, service, and repairs across the property. The role participates in preventative maintenance, handles guest requests and work orders, and performs trades such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, and more.

May drive the shuttle when needed and works full-time, hourly. Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma or equivalent and hotel experience preferred; a valid driver's

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Licensed in a trade preferred (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Approach guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Maintain standards of appearance and brand compliance.
• Comply with hospitality standards and safety regulations.
• Follow hotel and departmental procedures and policies.
• Report emergencies immediately.
• Handle guest room maintenance requests promptly.
• Assist with operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance for guest rooms and equipment.
• Assist in safety and health code compliance for pool/spa.
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
