Job summary

Savara Hospitality Inc in North Carolina seeks a dependable maintenance professional to help keep our hotel facilities safe, comfortable, and fully functional. You will perform routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and respond to guest-service requests with a focus on quality.

This role involves hands-on work across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, with emphasis on safety, reliability, and timely problem solving to support smooth hotel operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repair techniques.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and customer service skills in a guest-oriented environment.
• Basic understanding of workplace safety practices and procedures.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented professional to help maintain the safety, comfort, and functionality of our hotel facilities. In this role, you will support the day-to‑day operation of the property by completing routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and responsive service requests in a guest-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs and maintenance across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.

• Complete preventative maintenance tasks according to established schedules and standards.
• Inspect equipment, systems, and facilities to identify needed repairs or potential safety concerns.
• Assist with room setup, furnishings, fixtures, and minor renovation or improvement projects.
• Support emergency response procedures and address urgent maintenance issues as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and equipment conditions.
• Follow property safety procedures and ensure work areas remain clean, organized, and secure.
• Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to support smooth hotel operations.

Work Environment

This position may require standing, walking, bending, lifting, climbing, and working in a variety of indoor and outdoor areas throughout the property. Scheduling may include weekdays, weekends, holidays, and on-call support depending on operational needs.
