Overview

The Highlands is looking for a new night shift Hotel Maintenance Technician (3pm-11:30pm) to join our team! We are looking for someone who will show up ready and willing to learn the ins and outs of hotel maintenance. You will be responsible for responding to service calls and executing work orders. Anything you don’t know how to do, we will train you on, making this a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills! This is a full-time, year-round position that comes with a variety of perks and benefits!

Responsibilities

The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this classification and are not all-inclusive of the specific position.

  • Perform minor repairs such as patching holes in drywall, replacing stained ceiling tiles, replace light bulbs and sockets, and replace air filters
  • Conduct general clean-up and trash removal.
  • Occasionally move furniture and appliances.
  • Inspect and troubleshoot equipment.
  • Collaborate with co-workers.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • The Highlands will provide tools.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Previous experience is a plus but we are willing to train!
