Job summary

TPG Hotels & Resorts seeks an Engineer to perform interior and exterior preventative maintenance and basic repairs across guest rooms and public areas. You will respond to service calls, report hazards, and help ensure guest safety and comfort while upholding brand standards.

The role requires knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, the ability to troubleshoot issues, and strong communication with other departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training preferred.
• Hotel maintenance experience is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.
• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks; troubleshoot failures.
• Respond to maintenance service calls and emergencies to protect guests.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and front desk for maintenance activities.
• Assist with guest requests; uphold safety standards and brand guidelines.
