Job summary

TPG Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems across the property. You will respond to engineering service requests and assist in maintaining safety and brand standards.

You will inspect systems, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations and guest comfort. This role requires physical fitness and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
• Previous hotel maintenance or facilities management experience is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of M/E/P/HVAC systems and building operations.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of building systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC).
• Carry out repairs and maintenance tasks including fixing leaks and replacing faulty components.
• Respond to maintenance service calls and emergencies in a timely manner.
• Address guest maintenance requests professionally to ensure comfort and satisfaction.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with housekeeping and front desk.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures and stay updated on best practices.
