Job summary

Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa is seeking an hourly/entry-level Maintenance employee for full-time General Maintenance. The role covers guest rooms, meeting spaces, and front-of-house areas, plus back-of-house spaces including kitchen and HVAC systems.

Read blueprints and perform basic troubleshooting; previous hotel, hospital, or condominium experience is preferred. Hourly pay range is $33.35–$41.69.

Qualifications

• Two years building maintenance experience required.
• Experience with painting, drywall and woodwork.
• Hotel experience preferred.
• Good communication skills are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting spaces, and public areas including back-of-house spaces such as kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on major equipment and systems; read blueprints/schematics and perform basic troubleshooting.
