Job summary

Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa in Honolulu is seeking a Maintenance 1st Class for full-time work. Responsibilities include general maintenance and repairs across guest rooms, meeting spaces, and public areas, as well as back-of-house systems like kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical and HVAC.

Blueprints reading and troubleshooting are valued; two years of relevant maintenance experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years building maintenance experience required, including painting, drywall and woodwork.
• Hotel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting spaces, and front-of-house areas; back-of-house areas including kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on major equipment and systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics; basic troubleshooting.
