Job summary

Salt Ranch Nashville is seeking a Part-time Maintenance Mechanic to support on-site operations. You will respond to service calls, diagnose issues, and perform repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and general building systems.

Applicants should have hotel engineering experience, vocational training or an associate degree, and the ability to read blueprints. Physical lifting up to 25 pounds is required.

Qualifications

• Hotel engineering experience including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and kitchen systems.
• State certification or licensure where required.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Physical ability to lift 10–25 pounds and work in maintenance areas.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls within 30 minutes of notification.
• Troubleshoot defects and take corrective action; document actions taken.
• Perform repair, maintenance, alteration and installation work per procedures.
• Comply with applicable codes and regulations.
• Coordinate with electricians, carpenters, painters and night engineers.
