Job summary

DelMonte Hotel Group in Cleveland is seeking a Hotel Maintenance Manager to supervise the Engineering Department, oversee maintenance operations and ensure a safe, comfortable environment for guests and colleagues. You will lead a team, set expectations, and drive adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, planning and directing work; maintaining preventative maintenance schedules; inspecting equipment; coordinating with Front Desk and Housekeeping;

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of engineering and maintenance experience.
• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• Ability to manage and supervise staff; strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Supervise engineering staff and maintenance of equipment; lead and train associates.
• Interview, hire and train staff; plan, assign and direct work; appraise performance.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedules and records for public spaces, guest rooms and equipment.
• Coordinate with Front Desk and Housekeeping on room status; manage department budget and payroll.
• Ensure effective communication through logs and department meetings; provide inventory and purchasing data.
