Job summary

The Glasshouse Autograph Collection in Edinburgh seeks a Hotel Maintenance Manager to lead a small team of engineers, manage planned and reactive maintenance, and ensure logs are kept accurately with minimal guest disruption. You will report to the General Manager and coordinate with external contractors to deliver timely, high-quality work.

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years in a similar role, a can‑do attitude, and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Full and accurate completion of maintenance logs
• Carry out daily planned maintenance routines and health and safety audits
• Carry out general maintenance repairs on buildings and systems
• Ensure adequate supplies of spares on site
• Coordinate with external contractors and ensure timely, satisfactory work
• Manage a small team of engineers (workload, training, rota, holidays)
• Any other reasonable duties or project work as required
