Job summary

Kana Hotel Group is seeking a Facilities Maintenance professional to maintain the pool area, keep the grounds clean, and support routine upkeep across the property. You will work to ensure guest areas remain safe and well-maintained, reporting issues to management as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, hospitality experience preferred, and the ability to work independently. Prior maintenance or craft apprenticeship is a plus in a hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Hospitality experience preferred.
• Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain the pool area and exercise room.
• Keep grounds clear of trash and clean parking lot, sidewalks, breezeways, stairs, and entrance.
• Check the maintenance log and fix problems.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks.
• Report problems to the manager on duty for escalation to professional help.
• Report issues that affect guest satisfaction to relevant departments and GM.
• Keep storage area clean and secure before clocking out.
• Ensure adequate housekeeping supplies on each floor and sufficient linens and supplies in stock.
• Verify exterior lights are functioning and report any safety hazards.
