Job summary

Superhost Hospitality - Home2 Suites Prosper is seeking a Chief Engineer to oversee maintenance, engineering, and facility operations, ensuring safety and guest comfort.

You will manage routine tasks, inspect building systems, perform carpentry and repairs, and coordinate preventive maintenance with a focus on asset preservation.

This role requires hospitality experience, strong problem-solving, and the ability to work independently or with a team, across varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in property maintenance or a related field.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems.
• Proficient in carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs.
• Ability to perform routine inspections and address maintenance issues promptly.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee routine property maintenance tasks and preventive maintenance.
• Conduct inspections and address issues related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and building systems.
• Perform basic carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs.
• Assist in landscaping and outdoor area maintenance.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and guests.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of public areas and facilities.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
