Job summary

Onix Group, operating Hampton Inn Neptune in Neptune, NJ, seeks a Hotel Maintenance Manager to oversee the hotel's maintenance, engineering operations, and staff. The role ensures safety compliance and efficient operation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

Responsibilities include supervising maintenance personnel, managing projects, and implementing preventative maintenance programs while maintaining brand standards and energy efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hotel maintenance or a similar role.
• Strong leadership and managerial skills.
• Knowledge of building systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems.
• Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to push, pull, move, lift, and/or carry a minimum of 50lbs.
• Requires reaching overhead, climbing, crouching, and twisting.
• Reliable and willing to work long hours, holidays, and weekends.
• Must be able to speak and write English clearly.
