Job summary

StepStone Hospitality is seeking a hotel maintenance technician responsible for routine maintenance and repairs across electrical, plumbing, and related systems to ensure guest comfort.

The role includes air conditioning maintenance, pool area upkeep, and responding to guest requests in a courteous, timely manner, while adhering to safety policies. Strong communication in English, basic math and computer skills are required, with participation in meetings to support hotel operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach and use manual dexterity.
• Ability to push, pull, or carry equipment weighing up to 70 pounds.
• Required skills in hearing, writing, and typing.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel systems (electrical, plumbing, minor painting).
• Replace air conditioner filters and maintain HVAC equipment for guest comfort.
• Maintain pool area with proper chemical balance, cleaning and safety.
• Address and resolve guest inquiries and requests courteously and promptly.
• Contribute to guest satisfaction by delivering high-quality service through teamwork.
• Communicate effectively in English with guests, associates and vendors.
• Report maintenance information accurately and follow company policies.
• Attend required meetings to stay aligned with hotel needs and improvements.
• Demonstrate knowledge of hotel departments and their functions.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and legal regulations.
• Apply strong mathematical and computer skills in daily tasks.
