Job summary

Beauport Hotel Gloucester is seeking a full-time General Maintenance/Engineer to provide maintenance assistance across guest rooms, public spaces, kitchen and grounds. Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, is required.

Applicants should have 1+ year of maintenance experience and be able to operate power/hand tools, read gauges, and perform repairs with attention to detail and safety. The role involves collaboration with multiple hotel departments and hands-on maintenance duties.

Qualifications

• Must have 1+ year of maintenance/general labor experience.
• Intermediate maintenance skills required.
• Ability to read gauges and operate basic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Organize and prioritize daily maintenance tasks per area.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and report hazards.
• Perform interior painting, minor repairs, and furniture/components fixes.
• Coordinate with Facilities Manager and Front Office on shift tasks and needs.
• Assist Food & Beverage and Events teams with setup and housekeeping support.
