Job summary

First Hospitality's Homewood Suites by Hilton Milwaukee Downtown is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to ensure proactive upkeep of hotel systems and guest comfort. You will tackle routine tasks, respond to issues, and support guest needs while upholding safety and quality standards.

Requires 2+ years in maintenance, a high school diploma or equivalent, and ability to work with electrical/plumbing systems. This on-site role offers growth and professional development within a leading hospitality

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in hotel or similar facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Electrical and/or plumbing certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Proactively maintain building systems, equipment, and structure.
• Complete grounds and custodial tasks as needed.
• Operate power equipment safely and follow manufacturer guidelines.
• Repair plumbing, painting, carpentry, sheetrock, and electrical issues.
• Prioritize repairs to minimize guest disruption.
• Communicate with hotel departments to ensure timely maintenance.
