Job summary

Holiday-Inn-Express-and-Suites Smyrna is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance on the hotel property, including basic painting, carpeting, plumbing, and electrical work.

You will prioritize daily work orders, conduct interior and exterior property walks for safety and quality, and ensure hotel equipment and rooms are maintained to high standards. Weekend/holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Has at least 1 year of general maintenance experience.
• Clear verbal and written English communication.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Basic knowledge of drywall, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and overall property upkeep.
• Complete work orders requested by guests or staff.
• Maintain hotel safety and emergency procedures.
• Conduct safety and quality inspections throughout the hotel.
• Monitor and update maintenance work order system daily.
• Carry out maintenance tasks including painting, carpentry, drywall, plumbing, and electrical.
• Ensure brand standards and hotel conditions meet minimum expectations.
