Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Dallas/Richardson is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to uphold excellent guest service and ensure hotel infrastructure runs smoothly. You will perform repairs, participate in preventative maintenance, and keep all spaces safe and clean.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in hospitality maintenance, strong communication, and a proactive, can-do attitude. Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• Technical, Trade or Vocational school degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of work-related experience in a commercial facility, hospitality or related field preferred.
• Can-Do Attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow guidelines and procedures.
• Ability to handle pace and pressure in a hotel environment.
• Effective listening and conflict resolution with guests and coworkers.
• Strong communication skills and hospitality mindset.
• Must be 18 years or older; flexible schedule incl. evenings/nights/weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and document completion in the electronic work order system.
• Perform preventative maintenance per the hotel PM program.
• Follow safety and health codes; report emergencies to supervisor and GM.
• Conduct full property walks at shift start/end and document needs.
• Maintain clean and organized maintenance areas throughout the shift.
