Job summary

Aimbridge Hospitality at Hampton Inn & Suites Columbia is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to keep HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems running smoothly. You’ll perform preventive maintenance in guest rooms and public spaces, handle minor repairs, and support a safe, comfortable environment for guests and team members.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in hotel maintenance or a related field preferred.
• Trade license (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry) is highly desirable.
• Valid driver's license required, with an acceptable MVR.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections and preventive maintenance on plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and other hotel systems.
• Repair and maintain guest rooms and public areas; assist with carpentry and painting as needed.
• Respond to equipment failures and emergencies with safety as a priority.
• Follow OSHA guidelines and keep work areas clean and organized.
