Job summary

InnVentures is seeking a Maintenance Engineer at the Hilton Garden Inn San Jose Airport in California to maintain guest rooms and public areas in top condition. You will perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and system troubleshooting to ensure a safe, comfortable stay for guests.

Ideal candidates have prior hotel maintenance experience, can lift up to 50 pounds, and are available on weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance experience in a hotel or property management setting.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand/move for entire shift and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic repairs and preventative maintenance on PTAC/HVAC equipment, furniture/cabinetry, appliances, light fixtures and plumbing.
• Perform interior and exterior painting, landscaping and parking lot repairs.
• Troubleshoot devices such as key card systems, internet equipment, TV equipment, etc.
• Execute routine safety inspections and report/repair issues with equipment or systems.
• Respond to guest requests with urgency and service mindset.
• Support hotel goals through teamwork with all departments.
