Job summary

Hilton Tempo in Nashville seeks a Maintenance Engineer to perform routine and preventive maintenance across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. You will troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues and respond promptly to guest and staff requests.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma with technical training; prior hotel or commercial building experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical or vocational training in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or related trades preferred.
• Previous maintenance or engineering experience in a hotel, resort, or commercial building preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and hotel staff.
• Complete work orders and PM tasks in the work order system.
• Assist with painting, carpentry, caulking, and other cosmetic repairs.
• Inspect guest rooms for proper functionality of lights, outlets, AC units, fixtures, and appliances.
